Little things can add up in a big way. Self-care kits—an assortment of personal care and beauty items—are especially important during Week Without Violence. It’s a time when we raise awareness and advocate for the accessible, effective, and consistent resources that survivors need to build the flourishing futures they deserve.
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) selected YWCA St. Paul as the recipient of the 2021 Nonprofit Mission Award in the category of Anti-Racism Initiative.
YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. For more than 20 years, we have set aside one week in October as a Week Without Violence—a week to raise awareness and engage action to end the broad spectrum of violence—as part of a global movement with World YWCA to end violence against women and girls. This year, we invite you to join us from October 18–23 for this year’s campaign.

Thank you to 3M Legal Affairs for supporting YWCA St. Paul during your Day of Service. In October, 3M volunteers donated items, assembled them into birthday party bags and dropped the finished bags off at our Health & Fitness Center. The shiny colorful bags are packed with festive birthday party supplies and will make birthdays more special for our families.
