Finding acknowledgement and acceptance can be challenging. Discovering places where we belong can be a lifelong journey. How can we build a more inclusive world where everyone feels they can belong?

While fall is beautiful, days are also getting colder and darker. It is important that we identify activities and support systems that will sustain us through the winter months as we continue to battle Covid-19. What ideas do you have for staying safe, healthy and happy as we enter Fall during a Pandemic?

Week Without Violence is part of a global movement with YWCAs across the country and around the world to end violence against women and girls

Join us for an important conversation about domestic violence, discussing how to provide comprehensive and inclusive resources and support to meet the needs of all victims of violence, particularly those who face increased barriers to safety.

Make sure your voice is heard – get out and vote and complete your census! Both the elections and the census offer us an opportunity to ‘stand up and be counted.’ These processes impact who will represent us and what federal resources will be available to our communities. Your voice matters and needs to be counted!

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a role model and inspiration to generations of women. She leaves a tremendous legacy of service, persistence, brilliance, and civility. We must take time to honor her life and contributions and recommit to the fight for equal justice to which she devoted so much of her life.

The Young Women’s Initiative is pleased to present a report identifying key solutions to minimize the impact of COVID-19 on young women of color or with disabilities and LGBTQ+ youth, all of whom are likely to be disproportionately impacted by this health crisis.

Storytelling is a great way to connect with people – eliciting empathy and understanding. Sharing a personal story can help the listener gain insight into another’s experiences and increase their connection. What stories have moved you?
The Health & Fitness Center will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We’ll be back to regular hours on Tuesday, May 26.
Beginning Monday, April 13, the Health & Fitness Center will return to our 10:00 PM closing time Monday through Friday.
For the safety of our members and staff, YWCA St. Paul will be closed on Sunday, March 14 due to the statewide winter storm warning and potentially hazardous travel conditions.
