YWCA St. Paul is on a mission: Eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom & dignity for all.

Every day, we change minds, bodies and lives by helping program participants overcome barriers to access and achieve success in areas characterized by significant racial and gender disparities.

We’re able to do all of this only through the generosity of community members like you. Thank you!

“People literally take having a home for granted. It’s everything, just for my kid to go to her own room and have her own bed.” —Chanell, Rapid Re-Housing Program participant

After the death of a loved one, Chanell struggled with grief, parenthood and keeping stable housing. After working with a case manager in YWCA St. Paul’s Rapid Re-Housing Program, she finally had the security and capacity to accomplish the long-standing goal of getting her GED, and will start online classes at St. Paul College next.
