YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. For more than 20 years, we have set aside one week in October as a Week Without Violence—a week to raise awareness and engage action to end the broad spectrum of violence—as part of a global movement with World YWCA to end violence against women and girls. This year, we invite you to join us from October 18–23 for this year’s campaign.
Join our Healing Circles, a supportive, facilitated space to affirm Black culture, community and lived experience, and to share dialogue and feelings to promote health and well-being.
Thank you to 3M Legal Affairs for supporting YWCA St. Paul during your Day of Service. In October, 3M volunteers donated items, assembled them into birthday party bags and dropped the finished bags off at our Health & Fitness Center. The shiny colorful bags are packed with festive birthday party supplies and will make birthdays more special for our families.
Join Ram’s Taekwondo for a Self-Defense Workshop on Wednesday, October 13, from 5–7 p.m. Members and non-members welcome! Read more details about the workshop and register today.
As a community-oriented professional, Cassandra Yarbrough’s board service is one way she could meaningfully give back and make a real difference.

Are you fully vaccinated? If you haven’t already gotten your shot, you can be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine at the YWCA St. Paul Health & Fitness Center (HFC). Clinicians from Community Clinics will be administering the Pfizer (2 dose) vaccine on September 17 between 5-7 p.m. (first and second dose).
YWCA St. Paul thanks Xcel Energy for partnering with us again during their annual Day of Service. On September 10, an Xcel Energy team volunteered their time to transform the yard and playground at our Grotto property. We appreciate their time and hard work.
Thank you to everyone who donated supplies during our School Supply Drive. Your generosity helps students in our Housing programs continue virtual/in-person learning with the supplies they need most.
