Helping Our Community One Pie At A Time

Rose McGee, owner of Sweet Potato Comfort Pies, and Bonnie Alton, owner of Great Harvest Bread Company in St. Paul, joined together to recruit volunteers to help bake and deliver 46 sweet potato pies to George Floyd Square, as George Floyd was 46 when he died. They then decided to make additional pies to give to families in YWCA St. Paul’s transitional housing program and to Ujamaa Place, an organization that provides holistic transformation for young African-American men experiencing inequity at the intersection of race and poverty.

Pool Closure – Today, Wednesday, January 28

The pool area will be closed from 10:00 am–4:00 pm today while a contractor investigates a possible leak in the hot tub. In order to properly test and locate the issue, the entire pool area needs to be completely empty during this time. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep the space safe and fully operational.

Due to severe weather conditions in our area, we have adjusted our operating hours to prioritize the safety of our members, staff, parents, and program participants.
Updated Hours:
  • Thursday, January 22: Gym closes early at 7:00 PM
  • Friday, January 23: Closed all day
  • Saturday, January 24: Reopens at 12:00 PM
