YWCA St. Paul Giving Tree 2025

Embrace the season of giving by brightening the holidays for women and families in our community.

What Is the Giving Tree?

Each December, YWCA Saint Paul hosts the Giving Tree—a heartfelt campaign to collect gifts and gift cards for participants in our programs:

  • YW STRIDE: Young women of color transitioning out of foster care.
  • Transitional Housing Families: Individuals rebuilding stability and independence.

To participate, you’ll select a tag from our tree (located in the Health & Fitness Center), purchase the requested gift card, and return it  to the Health & Fitness Center . Simple, meaningful, and impactful

Why It Matters

YWCA Saint Paul’s mission—to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote dignity for all—guides this initiative.

By contributing, you’re directly supporting individuals as they:

  • Secure housing
  • Pursue education and employment
  • Build healthy routines

Your gift helps them engage with the community with confidence and hope.

How You Can Help

1. Select Your Tag

Swing by the Health & Fitness Center atrium and pick a tag sharing a program participant’s gift card wish

2. Purchase a Gift Card

Buy a gift card in the requested amount—perfect for autonomy and dignity.

3. Drop off at HFC

Drop off the unwrapped gift card with its tag at YWCA Saint Paul. We’ll ensure it reaches the right hands before the holidays.

Your Impact

Your thoughtful contributions empower recipients to:

  • Choose needed items that restore dignity
  • Use gift cards for essentials, transportation, or education
  • Feel seen, supported, and celebrated during a season that can be especially tough for those without family support
