YWCA St. Paul CEO Gaye Adams Massey Named to Executive Council for the Young Women’s Initiative Executive Council and Cabinet

We are pleased to announce that Gaye Adams Massey, CEO of YWCA St. Paul, has once again been appointed by Governor Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, to the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota Executive Council for the Young Women’s Initiative (YWI MN) and the Young Women’s Cabinet. Massey has been a part of the Executive Council since its formation in 2016.

The Young Women’s Initiative of Minnesota is a public-private partnership between the Governor’s Office, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota and YWCA St. Paul to achieve equity in opportunities and improve the lives of young women of color, American Indian young women, young women from Greater Minnesota, LGBTQ+ youth and young women with disabilities.

YWCA St. Paul is proud to host, as well as provide leadership and advocacy development to the YWI MN Cabinet of remarkable young women.

“It is an incredible honor to work with this powerful group of young women, providing an opportunity to elevate their voices, insights and stories,” said Massey. “The YWI MN Cabinet empowers young leaders from across the state to work for greater equity and opportunity in their communities.”
