Podcast Shares Tips for Navigating Risk

Tune in to hear YWCA St. Paul CEO Gaye Adams Massey as she visits with Michael Kithcart, host of the Champions of Risk podcast. Their conversation covers racism, racial justice, and the importance of choosing to confront these issues and how the current climate – with its intersection of racial injustice, the pandemic, and economic recession – could actually be the best time to take a risk and make real, lasting change.

In this discussion, Gaye shares her own story, taking the audience from her early days at Harvard Law School, to her time at the Children’s Defense Fund, and her legal career in the corporate sector before joining YWCA St. Paul. Gaye shares how believing in an organization’s mission makes it easier to take a risk and helped her make the leap to a new job in the nonprofit sector.
