As Director of Human Resources, Susan V. Olsen provides human resource and management consultation to senior staff, handling major HR work at the organization (talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development, team building, change management, compliance, policy and practice), along with oversight of the agency’s Information Technology and general administrative requirements.
Susan has more than 35 years of leadership and management experience, with extensive experience and expertise in human resource management, information technology management, organizational development, and general business operations.
Previously she served as Director of Operations at The Minneapolis Foundation; Administrative Manager at UMN’s Institute on the Environment; Chief Administrative Officer with the Girl Scouts St. Croix Valley; and Corporate Director of HR Development at Pace Analytical Laboratories with responsibilities for multiple locations nationwide. Susan also provided private consulting and served as lead pastor for two Iowa congregations, in addition to extensive community involvement in the Twin Cities.
