Today we honor the legacy of Jean Ohman, former Executive Director of YWCA St. Paul. She worked at YW for 37 years in all, beginning in 1945 as a Health & Recreation staffer.
In 1957 Ohman became Executive Director, a position she held for 25 years until her retirement in 1982. In addition to leading YWCA St. Paul for a quarter of a century, Jean Ohman was a talented poet. Below is one of her works we’d like to share with you today.
