We hope you are having a very happy holiday season. As we head into the New Year, we look forward to helping you achieve your health and fitness goals! We are pleased to share the following updates with you.

Pool Opening. We are excited that the pool will reopen on January 4th. To best adhere to the extended social distancing guidelines, one person will be allowed per lane in lanes 1-3, and 3 people are allowed in the open swim lanes (for a total of 6 people allowed in the pool at a time). Please note that masks are required except when in the pool. To register, you will need to sign into the new HFC system (instructions below), and register to reserve a lane for lap swimming or space for open swim. Click here for step-by-step instructions: https://www.ywcastpaul.org/fitness/signin/.

Due to the Governor’s orders, the hot tub remains closed. Additionally, the sauna is closed for repairs.

Registration Information. To sign up for the pool and to access other new benefits and features, we are asking you to register and begin logging into the new system. Once registered, please update your user profile and make sure your billing information is correct and up-to-date. Please note that normal billing will resume in January.

To begin:

  • Go to: https://ywcastpaul.cshape.net/memberLogin.aspx
  • Click Forgot Your Password
  • Enter the email address associated with your YWCA St. Paul fitness membership. You will receive an email to set your password. (Don’t have an email address linked to your membership? Please email us at healthandfitness@ywcastpaul.org.)
  • Update your User Profile and Billing Information in the Account Details section.

Fitness and Wellness Videos. HFC members will have access to two free months (January and February) of more than 200 fitness and wellness videos designed by experts, featuring world-class fitness instructors for all levels and intensities! Once logged in, you can find these videos, which include categories such as Cardio, Dance, Meditation, Pilates and more, on the left under “Virtual Workout Videos” and “Virtual Wellness Videos.”

Virtual Fitness Classes. YWCA St. Paul’s virtual group fitness classes are included as part of your membership. Please note these classes will also require sign up through the system in the coming weeks, so we encourage you to set up your account following the instructions above.

Safety. We are committed to providing a clean and welcoming environment for our members.  We have enhanced safety protocols in place, including cleaning stations and social distancing.

If you have any questions, please contact us at healthandfitness@ywcastpaul.org

We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we navigate these changes together. Wishing you a very happy and healthy New Year!

Self-Care Kits Assembled To Help Those In Need

Little things can add up in a big way. Self-care kits—an assortment of personal care and beauty items—are especially important during Week Without Violence. Week Without Violence 2021

YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. For more than 20 years, we have set aside one week in October as a Week Without Violence—a week to raise awareness and engage action to end the broad spectrum of violence—as part of a global movement with World YWCA to end violence against women and girls. This year, we invite you to join us from October 18–23 for this year’s campaign.
