May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month

YWCA St. Paul celebrates Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month to honor the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of AANHPI communities while acknowledging the challenges they continue to face. As an organization committed to racial justice and gender equity, we uplift AANHPI voices, advocate for policies that protect and empower AANHPI women and families, and stand against racism and discrimination in all forms. This month is a time to celebrate resilience, amplify stories, and reaffirm our commitment to a more just and inclusive future for all.

This year, we encourage our community to take part in AANHPI Awareness Month by celebrating the 50th anniversary of several Southeast Asian communities’ arrival in Minnesota. For more ways to celebrate, check out these links:

From all of us at YWCA St. Paul, happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Awareness Month!

Pool Closure – Today, Wednesday, January 28

The pool area will be closed from 10:00 am–4:00 pm today while a contractor investigates a possible leak in the hot tub. In order to properly test and locate the issue, the entire pool area needs to be completely empty during this time. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep the space safe and fully operational.

Severe Weather Alert!

Due to severe weather conditions in our area, we have adjusted our operating hours to prioritize the safety of our members, staff, parents, and program participants.
Updated Hours:
  • Thursday, January 22: Gym closes early at 7:00 PM
  • Friday, January 23: Closed all day
  • Saturday, January 24: Reopens at 12:00 PM
Please stay safe and check back for updates as conditions evolve. Thank you for your understanding.
