YWCA St. Paul’s $2.3 million cash appropriation bill approved!

YWCA St. Paul’s request to the Legislature for $2.3 million to help repair, restore, and maintain our buildings was approved! This is a critically needed investment in housing for homeless families, ensuring they continue to have safe, accessible, sustainable homes for years to come.

Thank YOU!

Thank you to everyone who called, wrote a letter to, emailed, or met with their Legislators. It was the efforts of many that led this incredible investment to happen.

A special thank you to Senator Sandy Pappas, Senator Erin Murphy, Representative Kaohly Her, Representative Samakab Hussein, and so many others that helped pass the bill.

YWCA St. Paul is grateful for the hard work and tireless efforts of many, many dedicated volunteers who met with their legislatures, spent hours at the Capitol, and advocated for this much needed funding. We coudn’t have done it without you!

YWCA St. Paul Housing Programs

YWCA St. Paul owns and manages nine buildings providing affordable housing to families as part of our supportive housing programs. These housing units are for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and combine affordable housing with customized support services that help participants stabilize their lives, build new skills, connect to community and secure a future of safe, stable housing.

Transitional Housing Program helps single-parent families build life skills and establish stability while living in one of YWCA St. Paul’s Transitional Housing sites.

Permanent Supportive Housing provides safe and affordable housing with supportive services specifically tailored to help families who experience significant barriers that have resulted in long-term homelessness.
