Young Women’s Cabinet 2019–2020 Cohort Announced

We are pleased to celebrate the next cohort of the Young Women’s Cabinet! This year, we are saying hello to 22 new members appointed by the Governor and welcoming back 11 cabinet veterans.

The Cabinet is a first-of-its-kind partnership between the Office of the Governor and Lt. Governor and the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, made up of young women and youth leaders ages 16–24. This public-private partnership and a multi-year, multi-million-dollar investment aims to achieve equity in opportunities and to improve the lives of young women of color, American Indian young women, young women from Greater Minnesota, LGBTQ youth, and young women with disabilities.

YWCA St. Paul is so proud to continue hosting in actively engaging in leadership and advocacy development, philanthropy, policy initiatives, and community engagement to address disparities for girls and young women. As a part of this program since its inception in 2016, we have seen so much growth and so many strong leaders grow and emerge!
