Girls Emerge Supply Drive for Bridge for Youth | April 1–16

Update: As a result of your generosity, Girls Emerge youth were able to donate more than 80 items that were needed most, including towels, baby items, laundry baskets and duffle bags. Read the update here. Thank you for your support!

As a result of COVID-19 our communities are struggling more than ever and homeless rates are skyrocketing. YWCA St. Paul’s Girls Emerge members are collecting donations for Bridge for Youth, a local non profit organization that assists runaway and homeless youth, as a way to raise awareness about the growing youth homeless problem, while helping to address Bridge for Youth’s current needs.

You can help young people impacted by homelessness by contributing a new and unused item to the Girl’s Emerge Bridge for Youth supply drive. Items needed most are listed below. The youth have a goal of collecting 25 of each of the items by April 16.

  • Towels: bath, baby and wash cloths (approximately $15 for a set)
  • Baby sleep sacks (approximately $18)
  • Laundry baskets (approximately $23)
  • Duffle bags (approximately $20)

Physical items can be dropped off at the Health & Fitness Center lobby or can be purchased on Amazon for delivery. Monetary donations can be made by visiting www.ywcastpaul.org/donate; please add a comment indicating that your contribution is for this supply drive, YW will purchase additional wishlist items with these contributions.

We thank you for your support!
