Equity & Justice Conversations: Economic Advancement

YWCA St. Paul is hosting a series of Equity & Justice Community Conversations, each focused on a specific topic reflecting the serious consequences of racism.  The next virtual conversation will focus on the impact of racism on economic advancement for people of color, specifically the Black community.

Please join Tawanna Black, Founder and CEO of the Center for Economic Inclusion, the nation’s first organization dedicated exclusively to creating inclusive regional economies by equipping public and private sector employers to dismantle institutional racism and build shared accountability for inclusive economic growth, in a discussion with Gaye Adams Massey, CEO of YWCA St. Paul.

They will discuss ways to advance economic inclusion across all sectors in the Twin Cities and strategies to address the gaps in economic advancement, provide a historical context and share action steps the community can take in collective activism.
